Experienced project geophysicist
Zetica Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Project Geophysicist to lead our busy and successful team.
You will be expected to work in our engineering/environmental and rail sections based near Oxford, United Kingdom and should have a minimum of 7 years experience working in near-surface engineering geophysics.
Requirements are a working knowledge of:
- GPR
- Seismic refraction
- Surface wave
- Seismics
- 2D resistivity imaging
- EM
- Magnetics
- Experience with Autocad and Geosoft Oasis Montaj are essential pre-requisites.
- Excellent writing skills are vital to this position.
You should have a Bachelors degree in physics, geophysics, geology or a related field. You will also need extensive experience of site work and dealing with clients, along with a keen desire to get a job completed to its budget and deadline, realising our client’s needs are a most important factor in this position.
The position includes data analysis, data interpretation, and reporting. Most work will be in the UK, with occasional overseas projects. We have a young, enthusiastic team who thrive on getting the job done to the highest standards. You will be working closely together with this team conveying your knowledge of the science and helping them give our clients the best service and reports.
- Salary range: £ 25,000 – 35,000
