Making peace of mind part of the deal
The risk of delays caused by striking unknown obstructions when developing brownfield sites can be high. Zetica’s advanced Landsweep™ non-invasive technology provides peace of mind to backup desktop studies showing recorded previous land use, which are often incomplete.
A detailed magnetic and electromagnetic survey was carried out over a proposed supermarket development site in the UK. The features outlined were summarised on a base plan of the site.
The information from the Landsweep™ survey complemented the available historical maps providing important additional information such as buried culverts and in-ground piles which were not previously known.
